Observaiton on Experimental Abdominal Hemorrhage

Abstract
The author observed the fate of the hemorrhaged blood in the abdominal cavity and its influence: on the rabbit experimentally.
The results were as follows:
1) The blood loss of one thirteenth of the body weight did not influence on the changes of the normal., body weight so much.
2) The blood hemorrhaged in the abdominal cavity did not change the body temperature distinctively.
3) The recovery of the hemoglobin in the intraabdominal hemorrhaged group was much faster than that: of the same amount of the externally blood lost group.
4) Not only the erythrocyte of the blood in the abdominal cavity was distinctively absorbed intactly but. also the rate of the absorption of the erythrocyte in the blood admixed with A C D solution was much. higher than that of the pure blood in the abdominal cavity.
5) Albumin and globulin of the blood in the abdominal cavity were completely absorbed. within ten days after the hemorrhaged.
6) The blood hemorrhaged into the abdominal cavity did not cause any kind of the inflection by itself.
7) The blood hemorrhaged into the abdominal cavity did not cause any pathological change in the peritoneum and omentum.
8) The blood hemorrhaged into the abdominal cavity was completely absorbed within ten days without any adhesion or complication.
